Inter Milan:
There are clubs who let their Managers decide pretty much who they want to buy and who they want to sell. Inter is not one of them. Moratti, is pretty much the one that makes all the decisions with regards to that, and expects the Manager to work with what he gives him.
The 2 big candidates to manage the club next season are Marcelo Bielsa and Andre Villas Boas
He does not have a bad eye for a good player, so I am sure he will do well.
After the horrors of this season (wrong manager appointed, players who were doing well else where failed to deliver and also the old guard suffer a collective collapse), a revolution is coming.
Moratti has also changed his own policy, and has in mind a few young players, while before he would have gone for the tried and tested.
Dede: defender who plays for Vasco da Gama and is a man in demand in Italy. As Samuel and Cordoba are coming to the end of their contracts, a replacement will be needed and Dede has been scouted. No approaches have been made, which puts Inter behind Juventus in this case.
Peluso: Left back, who plays for Atalanta, could be signed in order to replace Chivu, whose contract is expiring soon too. Moratti is a fan and would like to have him at the San Siro next season.
Giuseppe Rossi: another player that is courted by many top European clubs. He is injured at the moment and trying to recover in time for the European Championships in Ukraine and Poland. He is desperate to move away from Villarreal. Only problem Inter may face is that he wants to play UCL next season.
Jules Ntcham: the new “Patrick Vieira” has been followed closely by Inter and they are in pole position to get his signature. His club, La Havre, reluctantly have accepted that the player will be sold this summer.
Leandro Damiao: The Brazilian that is attracting lots of interest wants to move to Europe. There are many clubs after him, and there will be a big bidding war. The player himself has said that he favours a move to Italy, and Napoli is his preferred destination, but that has not deterred Inter to show and interest.
Ganso: Another coveted Brazilian, who in his own words is ready to cross the Atlantic and conquer Europe. Both Milan teams will enter a war trying to outdo each other in order to get him.
Paulo Dybala: Even if Moratti feels he rushed a little when he prematurely signed Ricky Alvarez last season, he is equally sure that this young Argentinean is ready to make the move and play a part. However Napoli is also interested and Inter’s idea would be to try to get Dybala, in order to tempt Napoli to do a swap deal between him and Lavezzi.
Ezequiel Lavezzi: Moratti wanted the striker for the past 2 transfer windows, but believes this is the time where he can realise his dream. Lavezzi’s has some issues to contend with outside football in Napoli, and if the club can’t help him solve them, he will have to go. There will be big competition as Zenit in Russia and some EPL clubs could get involved too.
Mauricio Isla: The Chilean midfielder is already in negotiations for personal terms, and we also believed that Inter will offer 2 of their youngsters on loan for next season (Coutinho and Castaignos) in order to tempt the club from Friuli to deal with them. Isla has impressed many clubs, but Inter seem to have gained momentum over him.
Lucas Moura: Another Brazilian, another target for many clubs in Europe. Inter did bid €25 millions for him back in January, but Moratti said he will go back there to try and get his man this time around.
Christian Eriksen: Not only Manchester United are looking to sign the Ajax player. Two weeks ago, inter asked officially for the player’s fee and availability.
Liverpool:
Despite all the information that you read in the paper linking the club with big names, it is more probable that only a few players will come in, and more will be leaving to try and re launch the club into the top four.
Reports linking Matias Suarez with the club are inaccurate, as the player has already pre signed with Arsenal.
The articles on the papers regarding this are inconsistent and full of clues from which you can tell that something is not right.
According to those report the player is wanted by Liverpool, West Brom and another “unnamed” EPL club.
Now the same article says that the player’s fee was €20m. Here is where all the suspicions begin. So are West Brom considering spending €20m on one player?
If he is worth that much, why is his release clause €7m?
Liverpool are looking at some young home grown talent (as they did last season) but also after these players.
Mauricio Isla: LFC scouts have been highly impressed by the Chilean player and really feel he could be a great addition to their midfiled
Mehdi Benatia: The Moroccan defender, who also plays for Udinese has received a big thumbs up by King Kenny himself. The possible departure of Daniel Agger and the uncertain future of Carragher mean Liverpool’s defence will need reinforcement.
Diego Lugano: The Uruguayan captain, and PSG defender is another candidate to join the Merseyside club. He has privately express his desire to be one day part of such a historic club as well.
Pablo Armero: yet another Udinese player, this Colombian midfielder is seen as a good choice to add strength and speed to the midfield. Liverpool representatives have spoken to his agent, and although there are other clubs interested in him in Italy, LFC are in pole position on this one at the moment.
Edison Cavani: Dalglish would love to pair Luis Suarez with his Uruguayan National team partner Cavani. He has started looking at ways to raise at least €30m to make a bid.
Cristian Tello: The young Barcelona striker has been offered to Liverpool and although he is not at the very top of the list, he made his way to the maybes.
Tottenham Spurs:
Their main target is a goalkeeper. There are many names linked to the club at the moment, but until the manager’s situation becomes clearer, we will only mentioned the players that have either been contacted, or scouted.
Eden Hazard: He is one of Spurs main targets. They have set aside €30m to try to tempt Lille into doing business with them.
Spurs erratic form of lately has put 4th position at risk, and it is known that the Belgian international wants to play UCL next season.
Jan Vertonghen: Spurs have met his agent three times, but nothing has come out of those encounters. The north London team are in great need of strengthening their defence, but the uncertainty about who will be in the hot seat next season is the biggest hurdle in order to capture the Belgian international.
The player himself has also said that Arsenal would be his preferred team.
Rafael: Club’s scouts have been to Brazil to watch the young Santos goalkeeper and he made it into the 3 players the club have decided on negotiate for.
Tim Wiese: German International and Werder Bremen Goalkeeper, ranks as second choice, but at the same time the one with the most realistic chances of ending up at Spurs.
Rene Adler: The Leverkusen goalkeeper is by far the first choice keeper the club wants to sign, but they have been disencouraged by his injury problems and by him persistently being linked with Hamburg.
As explained before, there are many more names linked to Spurs, but we can update this list only once the future of the manager has been decided.
